Hello there, and welcome to the site of K. L. Kerr, author of the VAMPYR SNYPER novel and all-around smashing person.
IMPORTANT: The blog section of this site has moved to Penrefe.com, so if you’re here for that, you’ll want to go there.
K. L. was born in 1984. As an 80′s child, she grew up to the films the likes of The Lost Boys and American Werewolf in London, which left an impression to become an interest in the preternatural through into adulthood.
She has been writing the VAMPYR SNYPER series since 2000. She has managed to finish the first book and start about a hundred of its sequels, but she’s still going at it. The intention is to complete the other four in the original series some time before she is too old to hold a pen. A longer recollection of her past can be found here.
Her first book, The Genesis, is available to buy in paperback and e-book format. For more information on the VAMPYR SNYPER series, visit the series’ web site at www.VampyrSnyper.com
Her short story “Jeremy, a Story of Real-Life, Only…Not” was adapted for the stage up by the Almost Famous Theatre Company in 2005 and shown at the Robert Powell Theatre in Manchester, UK. She has yet to finish the book.
K. L. is not entirely sure why she wrote her introduction in third person; she assumed it is expected for an author’s site. For a more informal tale of whimsy into the daily toils of trying to be a writer with the attention span of…something without a very long attention span ( I would say a goldfish at this point, but Stephen Fry taught me better than that), visit Penrefe.com
